Description
There is a $7 fee to get into the state park that surrounds Bear Creek Reservoir. The reservoir is close up to the foothills so it provides some good mountain views. It is a small lake and only paddle boats are allowed. There are two small creeks that feed into the reservoir.
Neither of these creeks are large enough to paddle. The lake is surrounded by Bear Creek lake park so there is no development along the edge of the reservoir. The reservoir is mostly surrounded by grasslands. Access to the lake is extremely easy.
