Description

   Boca Ciega Park doesn't have a boat ramp but there are plenty of places to easily put your canoe or kayak in. There are even a few well placed water spigots with water hoses attached so you can rinse your canoe (and yourself) off when your done. The park itself is very well kept and has lots of good trails for walking. It also has an extensive boardwalk running through the park as well as a well built 3 story tower that gives a great view of the park and surrounding area. The tower has a number of wooden benches to sit and enjoy the view or watch a sunset. Boca Ciega bay is really just a wide section of the ICW (intercoastal waterway).



There are a couple of small islands within an 1/8 of a mile of the park and the water is mostly sheltered making a good place to canoe or kayak.
